Asurco Roofing and Cladding (Asurco) is the exciting new addition to the McMahon Services Group of Companies and is the result of the acquisition by McMahon Services Australia Pty Ltd in 2020.

We offer a comprehensive range of roof and wall coverings, delivering innovation, and the highest safety standards from concept to completion.

Our service capabilities include design, supply and installation for new build, replacement works, heritage works, suspended ceiling systems and acoustic linings. We also provide replacement services for asbestos-containing roofing and cladding.

Known for our quality of work, we are one of the recognised leaders in the manufacture and installation of Glass-Fibre Reinforced Concrete in Australia. We are also the only South Australian manufacturer of toilet and shower partitions for all kinds of commercial and public buildings, laminates, fibre cement and polymer plastics.

We self-perform all works with our own qualified and experience workforce, and are equipped with elevated working platforms and mechanical lifting equipment including, tracked superdeck, lifters, knuckle boom, electric scissor lifts and a wide variety of cranes.

Founded in 1969, with more than 50 years of experience within the industry, we provide expert advice to our clients on all roofing and cladding materials. We ensure the best materials and construction methods are implemented appropriately, accommodating different conditions to achieve whole of life saving outcomes.

Asurco focuses heavily on safe work practices by implementing innovative solutions to protect our personnel when working at heights. This is achieved through implementing the safe work standards mandated by our management systems, conducting risk assessments, the use of safety harnesses, edge protection and scaffolding. We can safely install roofing and cladding on both greenfield and brownfield construction sites and adjacent to operational industrial plants and occupied buildings. As a result, we have been able to deliver high quality products, on-time and on-budget.

Asurco Roofing and Cladding operates a 6,000m² manufacturing facility in Adelaide, which is able to produce up to eight tonnes of GRC elements per day. The facility includes an additional 6,000m² of laydown areas.

Our factory includes a design office, mould processing workshop, mould production workshop, metal framing workshop with welding and oxy-cutting gear, panel casting workshop and inventory stores.

Specialist equipment includes chopper guns, GRC mixers, computer numerical control (CNC) router cutting machines, guillotines, croppers and punches, edge banders, paint rooms, wall saws, hoists, overhead gantry cranes, service trucks, forklifts and an LRX Plus material strength testing machine.
